WOMEN IN MUSIC AYO

"A space for women to create"

 Ayo Season 2025

Our Ayo season started with a loving tribute to our mother's kitchens in Dancing in Mama's Kitchen where we cherish the memories, the good advice and the feeling of being loved. We were supported once again by Miami Dade Cultural Affairs and the wonderful staff at Arcola Lakes Branch Library in Miami.  As we continue this year, we celebrate the talents of our youth with the musical Adventures of the Iro People. We will keep you updated on new productions and services. Importantly we are continuing our mission of providing a creative platform for women artists, youths and underserved communities. We are thankful for the support from Broward Cultural Division as we bring the rest of our season to you.

Our Soul Speaks

Here at Women in Music Ayo, we are driven by a single goal; to provide a platform for women to create.  When we help individuals expand their creativity, the world experiences that greater good.

In 2024 the Music Business Workshop created a buzz. We have expanded our reach producing events and programs in Miami Dade County and will continue to grow in 2026. This is all possible because of the array of talented and positive women who tirelessly bring their creativity to our programs and events. We are  thankful for our sponsors over the years Broward Cultural Division, National Endowment for the Arts, State of Florida Division of Arts and Culture, the Children's Trust, Miami Dade Cultural Affairs and Business for the Arts of Broward. We are so much richer because of the arts, and we plan to continue moving forward as advocates for the arts.

PERFORMING ARTS

Reinforcing our commitment to joyous creation.

Singing Our Soul Song is an initiative to spark creativity among women from all walks of life. Among the projects we supported was the theatrical production of Stori, Stori in 2018. Our goal is to provide great opportunities for recording, performance and product development for creative individuals. When people have access to resources, they become empowered and gain the confidence to fulfill their artistic potential. Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today.

Reinforcing Commitment to our Communiry

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, people are empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We salute our urban farmers recently with Dancing in Mama's Kitchen and look forward to a new and equally touching program in 2024..
